1. Security Deposit Returns
The security deposit collected at the time of booking is fully refundable, subject to a successful quality check of the returned equipment.
- Processing Time: Deposits are typically initiated within 2 to 24 hours after the console and all accessories have been picked up and inspected at our hub.
- Method: Refunds are transferred directly to your original payment method, bank account, or UPI ID provided during registration.
- Deductions: Apex Play Rentals reserves the right to deduct amounts from the deposit in cases of physical damage, liquid damage, missing components (e.g., cables, discs), severe scratches, or late returns without prior extension.
2. Order Cancellations
To ensure fair availability for all gamers, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced:
- Strict No-Refund Policy on Rental Fees: Once a booking is confirmed, it blocks our inventory for your chosen dates, preventing other customers from renting the hardware. Because these vacant dates lead directly to a loss for our business, we do not issue any refunds for the rental amount if you cancel your order at any time.
- Security Deposit: If you have already paid the security deposit online and decide to cancel before the equipment is delivered, the security deposit will be fully refunded to your original payment method.
3. Early Returns
If you choose to return the rented equipment before your scheduled end date, please note:
- We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days if you return the console early. The rental fee paid for the booked duration is final.
- Your security deposit will be refunded normally after the standard inspection process.
4. Faulty Equipment
We rigorously test all our hardware before dispatch. However, electronics can be unpredictable.
- If the console, controller, or game disc malfunctions within the first 4 hours of delivery through no fault of your own, please contact support immediately.
- We will attempt to provide a free replacement on the same day.
- If a replacement is unavailable, we will initiate a Full Refund (Rental Fee + Deposit) and pick up the faulty equipment.
